Valley Queen Cheese Factory was started in 1929 by two Swiss immigrants that first became friends as cheesemakers in Wisconsin. We're still proud to call the community of Milbank, South Dakota, our home. We’ve become a key partner for national and global food processors looking for quality cheese and whey products to bring their own products to life. We manufacture 90,000 tonnes of cheese, as well as anhydrous milk fat, lactose, and WPC-80 – both instantized and regular. Since the beginning, Valley Queen has taken great pride in providing opportunity for our partners, our employees and the communities we call home. We plan to continue that tradition for many more years to come.
