Milk powders are defined as milk products which can be obtained by the partial removal of water from milk. The United States produces a range of milk powders, with varying levels of protein, fat and water.They are used in a variety of food and beverage formulations including bakery, confectionery, dairy, meat, main dishes, recombined milk and nutritional products.


Nonfat Dry Milk and Skim Milk Powder

Milk powder with 1.5% or less milkfat (by weight).

Whole Milk Powder and Dry Whole Milk

Milk powder with 26%-40% milkfat (by weight).

Buttermilk Powder and Dry Buttermilk

Milk powder made by removing water from liquid buttermilk.
